Xmas Windows
Walking down a neighborhood street at night, in the few weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, can be very peaceful. It's quiet, and you can see people's decorations through their windows. We put those decorations there for themselves, really. It makes us feel good to come home and see the lights on, and to know that as soon as we step through the door we can be warm again. Everything is safe and good.
Other people's decorations do the same thing. And pictures of the windows are not a far cry from actually being there. The pictures are quiet, dark and, yes, peaceful.
Xmas Windows is a yearly project. I'll add photos as I collect them. Enjoy.
